Laser Tattoo Removal in Delhi

Despite the known permanence of tattooing, many people make decisions to ‘get ink’ without fully appreciating the issues and the permanence of tattoos. Their lifestyle or appreciation for their tattoo changes and they want the ink removed.

At Derma Miracle Clinic, we have the revolutionary technique to remove such tattoos. Many people enquire to seek tattoo removal and are able to effectively treat tattoos and skin types. We have found that the Q-Switched Nd: YAG laser is the safest and most effective device for tattoo removal. Q-Switch Laser uses PhotoAcoustic energy to penetrate the skin and safely target the tattoo at its core.

Each laser trajectory causes the tattoo ink to vibrate and gently break into microparticles which are eventually removed through natural body processes. At Derma Miracle Clinic, our laser therapists can track tattoo designs without causing unnecessary exposure to the surrounding skin because the laser targets energy in the right ‘light’. Q-switched Nd: YAG laser is used in our clinic to remove unwanted tattoos. Complete removal or significant fading of the tattoo color can be achieved without scarring in over 95% of cases.

Does it Hurt?

Our clients tell us that the experience feels much like tattooing a brief moment of mild dull pain like a pinch followed by a feeling of warmth in the treated areas. We do offer anesthetic gel and depending on your tolerance, you may or may not need to use this. At Derma Miracle Clinic, we also cool your skin before and during the treatment to help numb the area being treated.

How long tattoo removal process take?

It takes longer to remove a tattoo than it takes to apply a tattoo. At Derma Miracle Clinic, our experience is that it takes 4 to 8 separate sessions of 4 weeks. This all depends on the number of colors used in your tattoo, the size of the design type of ink used, and the age of the tattoo.

Larger tattoos may require more sessions to achieve removal. Smaller tattoos and especially black tattoos are easier to remove than larger multi-color designs. Remember that the various ink colors and types of ink used in your tattoos require different treatments from lasers that are suitable for your skin and tattoo ink. After a number of laser treatments, you will see temporary bleaching of the treated area. Over time, the tattoo fades and the skin returns to your normal color.
Simple, home-based black tattoos may only require 4-6 laser treatments to get rid of them, whereas professional colored tattoos may require 6-12 or more treatments. As with all laser therapy treatments, the frequency and number of laser treatments will depend on your skin type, the area affected, and the size of the area. Are there any Precautions to take during tattoo removal treatment?

As with all laser treatments, you should avoid direct sunlight before treatment, during treatment, and for several weeks after treatment. At Derma Miracle Clinic, our experienced and qualified laser therapists will tell you based on your skin type and the nature of the laser treatment you receive. Derma Miracle Clinic laser therapists sometimes need to refer clients to their Dermatologists and Dermatosurgeons for assessment and when in doubt will not treat until a Medical Permit is provided.

Are there any possible adverse side effects of tattoo removal?

A small percentage of people treated can experience side effects (undesirable results); these side effects are usually temporary and mild, although they can be more severe and long-term. They include;

  • Scarring, although rare and more likely to occur in darker skin types, can occur on all skin types and especially if the necessary precautions (related to sun exposure and some drugs) are not followed, before, during, and after treatment.
  • Hyperpigmentation (darker skin) can occur due to inflammation caused by laser treatments and brown marks that usually take several months to fade with the help of lightning agents.
  • Hypopigmentation (lighter skin): laser treatment can cause loss of skin pigmentation in the treated area. This pigmentation usually returns but can take up to 12 months and in very rare cases can take a long time which is considered permanent.
  • Bacterial or viral infections. Any infection in a wound created by a laser has the potential for scarring and laser treatments have been known to trigger an outbreak of herpes simplex.
